KIDS International Ministries, (KIM) Cainta Rizal

KIM was established to amplify a more “hands-on approach” in the involvement with the children and the lives of those serving in the ministry.   In February 2011, milk was delivered to the orphanage thru FWA–UK’s funding for the first time. From then on KIM receives twelve cans of powdered milk (2200g) every three months, allotting one can per week. During an FWA-UK’s visit there are thirty four
children with ages ranging from seven months to sixteen years, including a 22-year old mentally challenged girl whose mental age is
six, all living in the home. They drink their milk every morning at breakfast and seven of them, who are four years old and under, take a
bigger ration throughout the day.

Most of the KIM Board members have been to the Philippines several times. Alongside the Long Family, the members financially support the children and lovingly serve them. The board desires to care for the children and that the on-going ministries are sustained. A recent communication from Jeff, Colene and Josie Long, founder of Kids International Ministries:

‘We are so pleased to celebrate years of active service.

The FWA–UK has blessed so many people in our midst. From our little children’s home to our home for abused girls it has been a privilege to serve alongside you to CHANGE the NEXT GENERATION. As we educate the next generation and move these kids into proper homes and up the food chain God is allowing so many kids lives to be changed. Having the FWA–UK involved in our lives provides a great opportunity for us to serve more kids, see kids grow, learn and become LIFE changers themselves….

We realise the Philippines is the NUMBER ONE country in the world and as over 12 million Filipinos live their lives outside of this country they take the spirit of the Filipino with them… It is our goal for these people to serve the world and encourage everyone they meet through their love, warmth and  amazing grace they show people around the world…. On behalf of the kids in Rizal province, Luzon and Mindanao we appreciate ALL that you have done for the kids….God bless us all for helping the poor.’
