The FWA-UK holds a half- yearly general meeting (other than the annual general meeting) normally in May. The business of the half-yearly general meeting is:

•  To inform members of any plan for the activities of the FWA-UK for the current business year;
• To seek volunteers for the activities of the Association;

The FWA-UK Executive Board meet at least four times a year to ensure:

1. Approved funds for education and scholarships are protected.

2. Projects and activities observe legal requirements and benefit the intended beneficiaries under the Objectives of the FWA-UK Constitution.

3. Trustees have a working knowledge of the FWA-UK Constitution and Rules of Procedure, and work in a spirit of cooperation, skills sharing, and mutual respect.

4. Trustees understand their responsibilities in the management of the resources of FWA-UK.

5. FWA-UK assets and accounts are well managed with transparent procedures and within accepted practice.

The annual general meeting (AGM) shall be held in each subsequent year (normally in September) and
not more than fifteen months may elapse between successive annual general meetings. The business of
the annual general meeting shall be:

1. To receive the Association's annual report;
2. To approve the annual audited accounts; 
3. To consider any proposed amendments to the provisions of the constitution; 
4. To consider any other urgent business of which due notice has been given; 
5. To elect members of the Executive Board; 
6. To elect the Association's Trustees.
